About Professor Moutinho

 Luiz Moutinho  is a visiting Professor at the University of Suffolk, School of Technology, Business and Arts, England, The Marketing School for Business, Portugal, and an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Pacific, Fiji. He has been a Full Professor for 35 years, holding full-time positions at various institutions in countries such as Scotland, Wales, USA, Ireland, and Brazil.   

Professor Moutinho is the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Modelling in Management (JM2) and Co-editor-in-Chief of the Innovative Marketing Journal. He has another 4 associate editorships as well as being in the editorial boards of another 47 international academic journals and has given keynote speeches in 49 countries worldwide having had 39 books published and over 161 articles published in refereed academic journals

Professor´s prestige follows him wherever he goes, in 2024 was appointed as top 100 scientists in Business and Research by Research.com, in 2020 was instated as The Elected Member of The Academia Europaea and in 2017 received a degree of Prof. Honoris Causa from the Univ. of Tourism and Management Skopje, North Macedonia.

More recently, he was nominated the Dean for Global Innovation at Kotler Business School USA.

 

Books

Professor Luiz Moutinho has published 39 books in the last 35 years, from book 1, the Tourism and Marketing Management Handbook, launched in 1989, to book 39, Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence and Its Place in Society, issued in 2023.

 

The thematics are much like Professor´s career, vast and diversified, among many themes one can find Quantitative Modelling in Marketing and Management, Children's Consumption Behaviour, Strategic Management, Computer Modeling and Artificial Intelligence.
